BP Pulse has revealed its decision to no longer offer their electric vehicle (EV) home charging units directly to consumers.

Instead, the company is now dedicating its attention and resources to fostering a world-leading EV charging network geared towards the commercial and fleet sector.

The company will now focus on installing hundreds of charging hubs to expand its current rapid and ultra-fast charging network fivefold by 2030, offering enhanced convenience to drivers and fleets.

With this shift, the company can prioritise its efforts to provide a superior EV charging experience specifically tailored for EV drivers and fleets, while still supporting customers who have already purchased BP Pulse home chargers and honouring the three year warranty provided upon purchase.

Vice President Akira Kirton explicitly highlighted the “best possible EV charging offer” that BP Pulse will be able to deliver through this decision, ultimately enabling them to facilitate the swift integration of EVs into the UK economy.
